  • Key Benefits: Provides excellent slip and air bleed, is easy to apply, and performs well across all tire types—especially truck, bus, and agriculture tires.
  • Usage Note: Avoid treating inliner splices/overlaps to prevent vulcanization issues, and ensure green tires are used within 48 hours of treatment for effective material transfer.

OUTSIDE GREEN TIRE PAINT OL 926

  • Water-Based Tire Paint: OL 926 is applied to green tires by spray or sponge, with a required drying time of 5–15 minutes.
  • Key Features: Offers excellent flow and release properties, a good external finish, and comes in black or clear versions.
  • Fast-Drying & Stable: The product is stable, quick-drying, and must be stored with the container closed to prevent drying out.

MOLD RELEASE AGENT: SEMI PERMANENT - MRA-100/2

  • High-Performance Release Agent: MRA-100/2 is a semi-permanent, water-based release system offering high temperature stability (up to 260°C), excellent slip, and abrasion resistance, especially suited for rubber and tire molding.
  • Minimal Transfer & Build-Up: It provides multiple releases with virtually no transfer to molded parts and significantly reduces mold build-up.
  • Clean, Uniform Finish: Delivers a dry, non-greasy, semi-gloss finish and reduces or eliminates the need for external paint.

MOLD RELEASE AGENT: PERMANENT - AQUACOAT 1984

  • High-Temperature Permanent Release Coating: Aquacoat 1984 is a water-based release agent with excellent heat resistance—stable up to 450°C, suitable for all rubber molding except silicone rubber.
  • Non-Transfer, Low Build-Up: Provides a micro-thin, non-greasy film that adheres to molds, allows multiple releases, and minimizes build-up on molds.
  • Curing Process Required: Must be cured in an oven (15–20 minutes at 325°C) after application at 90–100°C to activate the release film.

BLADDER COAT : SEMI PERMANENT BC 918

  • Semi-Permanent Bladder Lubricant: BC-918 M is a clear, ready-to-use lubricant designed specifically for coating tire bladders, enhancing slip and air bleed performance.
  • Durability & Efficiency: Provides multiple releases per application and can last an entire production shift without reapplication; curing at 150°C for 1 hour extends bladder life.
  • Eco-Friendly & Versatile: Environmentally friendly and suitable for all types of tires, contributing to excellent tire appearance and reduced vulcanization issues.

BLADDER COAT : PERMANENT BC-918 M/RFT

  • Semi-Permanent Bladder Coating: BC-918 M/RFT is a clear, ready-to-use, water-based lubricant designed for coating bladders, enabling multiple tire releases per application.
  • Performance & Durability: Offers excellent slip and air bleed, with recommended curing at 150°C for 1 hour to form a harder film and extend bladder life.
  • Versatile & Eco-Friendly: Environmentally friendly and suitable for all tire types, helping ensure high-quality tire appearance and reduced production issues.

RIM LUBE/UNIFORMITY LUBE: RL 928/45

  • Advanced Uniformity Lubricant: Designed specifically for tire uniformity and balancing machines, Rimlube 928-45 helps improve tire uniformity and reduce scrap rates.
  • Water-Based & Clean Application: Free from alcohol and silicones, it leaves no residue, causes no corrosion, and is compatible with various application methods (spray gun, brush, roller, etc.).
  • Adjustable Drying Time & High Efficiency: Offers excellent slip, low consumption, and adjustable drying time to optimize performance and machine compatibility.

TIRE MOUNTING LUBE: TML- 45

  • Optimized for Uniformity Testing: Specially formulated for use in uniformity measuring and balancing machines, enhancing tire performance and reducing scrap rates.
  • Clean & Versatile Application: Water-based, alcohol- and silicone-free, leaves no residue, and can be applied via spray, brush, roller, or sponge without clogging equipment.
  • Performance & Equipment Safety: Offers excellent slip, low consumption, adjustable drying time, and causes no corrosion on equipment or rims.

BLACK TIRE FINISH PAINT: TFP-100

  • Water-Based Tire Finish Paint: TFP 100 is a black, fast-drying paint formulated to give tires a clean, uniform external appearance.
  • Key Benefits: Offers excellent flow properties, a good finish on the tire’s exterior, and is easy to apply by spray, brush, or sponge.
  • Stable and Long-Lasting: The product is stable with a 12-month shelf life and must be kept sealed to prevent drying out.

Durafine Case Study

Enhancing Tire Curing Efficiency with Durafine Multi-Release Inner Green Tire Paint

A global tire manufacturing leader with multiple plants across Asia, Europe, and North America was facing efficiency and consistency issues during the green tire curing process. Their existing inner tire paints required frequent reapplication, caused mold contamination, and contributed to venting defects in cured tires—resulting in production inefficiencies and increased rework rates.

The Challenge
Key issues identified:

  • Low release cycle count (1–2 cures per application), increasing labor needs
  • Uneven film thickness, leading to air entrapment and surface marks
  • Mold fouling due to thermal degradation of paint residues
  • VOC emissions and safety concerns in high-speed spray booths
  • Inconsistent paint performance across global plants and different tire sizes
These challenges hindered production speed and quality, particularly in PCR (Passenger Car Radial) and TBR (Truck and Bus Radial) lines.

Durafine's Solution
Durafine worked closely with the manufacturer’s global technical and process teams to develop a custom multi-release inner green tire paint, engineered for high-volume, automated spraying systems.
Key Features:

  • Multi-release capability (up to 5–8 cures per application)
  • Excellent film uniformity and elasticity, even on complex tread profiles
  • Low VOC, water-based formula with fast drying properties
  • Improved air bleed and venting, reducing defects like voids or trapped blisters
  • Stable across different climatic zones and spray line conditions
